The Brilla College Prep Charter School serves Latino (68.5%) and African-American (31.5%) kids in the Bronx, NY.
Raza Development Fund (RDF) financed Brilla school and they opened their doors on 2013.
Tommy Espinoza, RDF President & CEO said the school model is unique because they care about their students academic and personal development, but they care also about their teachers and employees growth. “This is not only about good grades, Espinoza said, but teaching the kids good manners, respect and inter relations”.
