AAMA is the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans, founded in 1970 in Houston, Texas. Their mission is to inspire and empower at-risk Latinos to pursue their potential and achieve success.
Programs of AAMA include the Sanchez Charter School serving more than 780 students in pre-K & grades 6-12. The Adelante program helps 1,400 adults with ESL, GED, civics and computer courses.
